FARMSTORES
Van het Land delivers you once a week an abundant basket of organic fruits and vegetables: they are varied and often very surprising for all of us who never ate from the gardens of the 40thies!
De Genneper Hoeve is the store of the Genneper Parken organic farm (can be visited every day, by the way. A very nice outing with children!). They sell organic cheese, meat, cereals, fruits, vegetables, ice cream and other treats!
SELF GROWING
If you have a nice garden and if you would like to grow your owns plants, fruits and vegetables, you can visit the Soontiëns Garden Centrum. They provide very good advice and offer a great choice of organic seeds and plants.
If you do not have that nice garden, but wish to use one for a short period of time, you can contact Mrs Marije van der Park of Bureau Marije van der Park in Geldrop. This graduate of the Dutch Design Academy committed herself to turning fallow lands into gardens.
